Happy primary day to you Jersey folk, or for the nerds who will be watching. Our GIS team has been hard at work and has calculated exclusive datasets added to our paid subscriber data access sheet that have helped us create a more confident state legislative forecast for the General Assembly and State Senate elections this year. We have added publicly available data on Jersey such as the gubernatorial and presidential data and our GIS team has calculated the 2021 General Assembly and State Senate results by the new districts, including for each multi-member district in the General Assembly.
In addition to the 2021 data, our team has also calculated the 2022 US House results by each state legislative district. After analyzing this data, we’ve revamped our forecast for the Garden State, and Democrats are now favored to flip 2 seats in the General Assembly (both seats in District 11) with another 6 Toss-Up districts. In the State Senate, Republicans are favored in 15 seats (the current amount of members they have in the chamber) with two Toss-Up districts.
